Stretch in Your Bullfrog Spa

One of the best feelings after a beautiful long day on the slopes is slipping into a nice warm hot tub. Not only can you get the benefits of relaxing, but you can also help your muscles by doing some relaxing stretching in the warmth.   


Give your body time to warm up for a little while before starting any stretches. Ease into stretching and remember to listen to your body.

Here are a couple of stretches to try. 
  • Roll your shoulders back and forth while sitting in your favorite seat with your favorite Jetpak and feel the benefits wash over you. 
  •  Ankle circles allow your feet to start to relax and your ankles will thank you for it. You can do this while sitting or one by one while standing.   
  • A standing stretch for your quads can release tension. Stand near the wall and bend your knee and bring it towards your bottom. Gently hold your ankle with the same side hand and bring the leg back and push your hip forward. Make sure not to push yourself! This is an excellent way to stretch your calves while enjoying your spa. 
  • Another fantastic stretch is to simply stand in the center of the hot tub and reach one hand over above your head and lean towards the opposite side stretching out your side, hold for 20 seconds and then move to the other side.   
  • Hamstrings get tight when on the slopes, spend some time freeing them up. Sit up straight and bring one knee to your chest. Hold on to your ankle or calf and extend your leg out straight, holding for 20-30 seconds before bringing your leg back and switching sides. Make sure always to stay mindful of how your body is feeling. 


After getting some light stretching done, grab a bottle of water and sit back and enjoy simply relaxing in your Bullfrog Spas tub.
