After a few months, even the most beautiful winter wonderland can start to feel like a bit of a snowy prison. Fortunately, soaking in your hot tub can melt away your winter blues and help you feel refreshed even on the coldest day.
Embrace the Beauty of Nature A snow-covered landscape can be breathtaking. Unfortunately, the accompanying cold weather can make that statement true in more ways than one. How often do you truly get to take in the view? Sure you can take a look through the window or for a few minutes when bundled up tight, but a hot tub gives you the opportunity to really soak in the beauty while staying warm and toasty. Exercise Outdoors Is the treadmill not cutting it for you anymore? If you’re used to exercising outside, winter can feel like it lasts forever, and it might be harder to motivate yourself to exercise regularly. Breckenridge hot tubs offer a few elegant solutions. First, you can soak in the hot tub after a hard workout as a bit of a reward/motivation to push yourself even when you don’t want to. Second, you can work out in the hot tub while enjoying the great outdoors! You can easily do simple exercises like bicycle kicks, leg lifts, and leg extensions. Melt Away Your Stress The colder months of the year house a lot of holidays. From October to February, you get hit with a major holiday every month. That can bring in a lot of joy, but it can also cause a lot of stress. Soaking in a hot tub can be a perfect, incredibly easy way to alleviate your stress throughout the winter months and beyond. The warm water can soothe your aches and pains while helping you relax. It’s a simple solution your family can enjoy for years to come. At Rocky Mt. Hot Tub Co., we believe Breckenridge hot tubs can easily be enjoyed all year long. Contact us today to start the process. Owning a hot tub provides great relaxation in the winter and refreshment in the summer with minimal maintenance (compared with swimming pools, for instance).
Still, hot tubs do require a bit of upkeep so they stay in good condition over the years. Neglect can cause unsanitary conditions and even injury. Here are a few tips to keep your hot tub in excellent shape on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. Daily tasks Hot tubs require just a bit of attention on a daily basis. The daily upkeep will go a long way to prevent problems further down the road. Each day, check the water temperature to make sure it’s still at the minimum level. Remove debris from the water, and make sure the cover is fully protecting your hot tub. Weekly tasks Each week, you’ll want to check the sanitizer levels, pH balance, and alkalinity. This will keep your tub safe for use. Be sure that you briefly clean the hot tub filter and also clean the surface around the water line on a weekly basis. Monthly tasks At the beginning or end of each month, the hot tub will require a little more attention than usual. For monthly maintenance, clean and condition the hot tub cover so that it doesn’t allow bacteria to get into your hot tub. If you’re using your hot tub regularly, you’ll also want to drain and refill the hot tub to deep clean and refresh the water source. This can be done every 2-3 months if you’re using the hot tub less often.
